Shimla, alternatively known as Simla, serves as the capital city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, nestled amidst mountainous terrain at an elevation of approximately 2,200 meters (7,234 feet). Renowned as a favored tourist spot in India, Shimla was designated as the summer capital of British India in 1864.
Manali epitomizes an expansive valley adorned with lush deodar and pine forests, meandering freshwater streams, and perpetually snow-capped peaks, creating an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Not only does it offer excellent accommodation options, but it also boasts numerous spiritual retreats that beckon visitors for a transformative experience.
Day1: Arrive at Chandigarh airport/railway station. Meet and guide cum driver and proceed to to sightseeings of Chandigarh like Sukhna lake, Rock and Rose Gardens. After this proceed further to shimla. Arrive Shimla in the evening. Have a yummiest dinner at hotel and relax..
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed to kufri Fun Campus. (Guests can enjoy various sides and activities at their own cost). Later visit Kufri-winter sports capital. Indira Bunglow & Himalayan Zoo (subject to operation). In the evening, visit the famous Mall rood, Scandal point & Shimla Church.
Day-3: After breakfast, proceed to Manali. Enroute pass by Pandoh Dam, Beas -Sutly Link Project, Kullu valley. Arrive at Manali in the evening. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast proceed toManikaran, a sacred place with hot springs and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy local sightseeings of Manali while returning, like Hidimba Mandir, Vashist Mandir, Jagatsuth Gayatri Mandir, Van Vihar, Buddhist Monasteries, Club House. Enjoy tastey meals after a fabulous day Enjoy tasty hotel.
Day 5: Proceed to Solang Valley / Rohtang Pass after a breakfast. Take a ropeway ride (at your own cost) at Solang Vally to enjoy a breathtaking views of glaciers & snow capped mountains. Enjoy snow activities like skiing zorbing, Paragliding, ATV ride etc. End this fun filled day in a snow with delicious meals at the hotel.
Note: Rohtang Pass is 51 km away from Manali. This pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year, as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road, which has been permitted by Border Security force.
Day 6: Proceed to Chandigarh after breakfast to board a flight / train to your home town. Tour concludes.
